Tasting Notes: This medium to full bodied wine displays a rich ruby colour and wonderful red and blackfruit aromas and flavours of blackberries, cassis with raspberries, and a hint of spice with very smooth slight oak overtones
Suggested Food Pairing: Wild salmon with mushroom risotto paired with Nebbiolo
Notes/Comments: The Nebbiolo is a red wine grape varietal predominately grown in Piedmount region and makes up the wines of Barolo and Barbaresco. The name “Nebbiolo” is thought to derive its name from the Italian word “nebbia” which means “fog”. During harvest, a deep, intense fog sets into the Langhe region where many Nebbiolo vineyards are located. Rarely found in Niagara, the grapes in this wine were sourced from our Estate vineyard atop the Niagara Escarpment. The grapes were hand picked, sorted and aged 70 months in oak barrels
Food Pairing: Hearty pastas with Ragu, risotto with truffles or mushroom cream sauce, roasted duck, veal or chicken Milanese; hearty Cioppino (Italian tomato fish stew), Tuna tartare with Avocado, Salads with Blue Cheese, Chevre and pears as well as Fontina cheese

Tasting Notes: A wine that displays jammy dark berry fruit aromas with a hint of cakespice.
Suggested Food Pairing: Canadese Thin Crust Pizza (Tomato Sauce, mozzarella, Genoa Salami, prosciutto and mushrooms paired with 2018 Cab/Merlot Ripasso)
Notes/Comments: This medium bodied Ripasso style red wine was made using the Italian tradition of aging wine on the pressed grape skins from Appassimento wines. The fermented Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot were added to barrels containing the lees and skins leftover from the pressed off partially dried grapes used in our Corvina Appassimento wines.
Food Pairing: Creekside Rood Apples Cider pairs great with our Southern Fried shrimp or Housemade Fried Apple Pies. Also enjoy with charcuterie, grilled beef tenderloin, hard cheeses, pesto pasta, blackbean soup, salads with goats cheese and balsamic.
